The Tennessee Technology Centers have recently changed their testing requirements for entrance into the Nursing Program.   Passing scores on the Compass test are now required before being eligible to apply for admission to the Practical Nursing Program.  The Compass Test focuses on Math and Reading skills which is similar to the NET test.

The Center will be providing several test dates each trimester prior to the beginning of our next PN class in 2012 deadline.  The cost of the test is $15 and may be paid at the Center's Business Office during normal business hours.  Applicants may pay in advance, or on the day of the test.  A study guide can be purchased by contacting Mo-Media at 1-800-673-8175 or www.mo-media.com/compass.  We have found the average test scores of those who have studied the guide, or have utilized practice tests site from the internet are higher than average.  Therefore, we encourage each of you to purchase the guide  or utilize the websites listed below several weeks prior to the test date.
