Full Time Student Fees
All students enrolling for over 255 hours, whether resident or non-resident, will pay the full maintenance fee. Students enrolling or completing their program during a trimester will pay a prorated fee for that term based upon the hours below. A fee list may be obtained from
the Student Services Office. Fees are determined by the Tennessee Board of
Regents and are effective beginning each Fall Term. The following fees
are in effect beginning September
2, 2008.
* The Center has
the option of charging $2.50 per hour within these hourly ranges. Fees must be paid during registration before a student will be officially admitted to class. Thereafter, the fees must be paid at the beginning of each quarter. Part Time Student Fees A student will be officially admitted to class when all applicable fees are paid. Students enrolling in short-term, part-time, or supplemental programs (less than 432 semester hours) will be assessed a fee based on the length (number of hours) of their program. The payment of any and all fees will be made during registration. Students aged 65 or over may attend credit courses for a $75 fee. RODP Online Fees Please visit the Tennessee Technology
Center Regents Online Diploma website at RODP Satisfactory Progress for
Financial Aid Eligibility
A student enrolled in an online program must maintain a
satisfactory grade to continue eligibility for Federal Financial Aid. The
following scale of progress is used to determine a satisfactory grade.
If an RODP student receives a grade of "I" (incomplete), he or she will have the following trimester to complete the course for a grade. If at the end of the following quarter, the course has not been completed and a grade assigned, the course grade will be considered an F (unsatisfactory) and a zero (0) will be calculated with the earned grades for the quarter in which the course was taken. An average for the quarter will then be calculated. If the Trimester grade is not a C or better, the student will lose his or her eligibility for financial aid until the failed quarter (423 clock hours) has been successfully completed. Payment of Fees Fees may be paid using cash, check or credit card. If a student pays using an unhonored check by his or her bank, the student will be notified by the Center. If fees are not paid within 15 calendar days of the date of the notice, the student will be withdrawn from class. If payment is made within the allotted time period, the student will be assessed a returned check fee of $20, in addition to the Maintenance Fee.
